Highland

The highland is the largest of the native British ponies. They grow up to 13-14.2hh. They originate from Scotland. They are usually brown, black, dun or grey. They are used for general every day riding, driving or trekking. Most are hard working and strong. In highland ponies judges expect to see full flowing manes and silky feathers on the back of their legs.
