Anglo-Arab


The Anglo-Arab is a cross between an Arab (see the post on Sunday 12th of December) and a through bread ( see the post on the 18th of December) The Arab giving it elegance and strength but on the other hand the though bread gives it speed and intelligence. They normally grow to about 15.2-16.3hh. They originate fro England. They are usually: Chestnut, brown, bay or Grey. They are used for Ridding(on hacks, endurance or schooling) they are also used for showjumping, dressage and long distance racing. They can do a bit of everything. Most are intelligent and very fast. Anglo Arabs are popular for endurance racing, during races they may cover distances of up to 80 kilometres a day.

Hackney Horse/Warmblood


Hackneys are the worlds best known carriage horse. They grow up to 14.2-16.2hh. They originate from England. They can be any colour but most are bay, chestnut and black. They are used to pull carriages they are sprightly and energetic. They are also ponies and horses. Hackney horses are usually seen in shows in harnesses pulling carts and traps. They are best known for their elegant floating trot action they raise their knees high and pause between each stride.

Dutch Warmblood


The dutch warmblood is one of the worlds youngest breeds or new breed. They grow to around 15.3-16.3hh. They originate from the Netherlands, They are usually these colours: Black, brown, bay, chestnut or grey.They are normally used for show jumping or dressage. They are usually tough and live for a long time. They are very strong and resistant to health problems.

Connemara


Connemara ponies are very sturdy but also gentle ponies they are good with both children and adults. They grow to around 12.2-14.2hh.They originate from Ireland. They come in these colours: Grey, Dun, chestnut, bay,roan,brown, black.They are normally used for flat riding and eventing. Most of them are friendly and very intelligent.

Arab


Arabian horses are one of the oldest known breeds.They grow up to around 14.2-15hh.They origonate from the Arabian peninsular.They are usually: Grey, chestnut or bay brown or black are rare. They are usually raced or used for showing.Arabs were raced through the deserts of the middle east. Most of them are high spirited and intelligent. Most horses came from the arab blood line.

The Welsh section B is also known as the welsh pony. They normally grow up to around 12.2-13.2hh, It origonates from wales. It can be any colour and their caricteristics are usually good natured and strong. There are 4 types of Welsh pony: Section A / Welsh mountain
